Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

One Community Health wants to remind you that there are ways to detect cervical cancer early and obtain needed treatment.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness month and One Community Health wants to remind you that there are ways to detect cervical cancer early and obtain needed treatment. Each year, approximately 13,000 women in the United States get cervical cancer.

Both the Pap and HPV tests can find precancers or early signs of cancer. Your health care provider can tell you when you should get these tests, based on your health history.

One Community Health can help keep you and your family healthy as well as ensure that you get the health screenings you need, including for cervical cancer. Call 916 443-3299 or visit the One Community Health website to learn more about our services, how to schedule an appointment and how to become a patient.
