Colorectal Cancer Screenings at One Community Health
Staying a step ahead of colorectal cancer.
One Community Health is dedicated to improving the lives of all of our patients, especially when it comes to preventive screenings. With colorectal cancer the third leading cause of cancer-related death of men and women in the United States, we are committed to making sure patients have access to colorectal cancer screenings.
Screening tests are important tools to help find problems before symptoms appear. For colorectal cancer, that means being treated and sometimes even cured.
There are several ways to get screened for colorectal cancer. One of the easiest is the InSure ONE Fit test, available from your One Community Health doctor. It is a simple test you take at home and mail to a lab.
Both men and women, starting at age 50, should be screened for colorectal cancer. If you’re at average risk, the InSure ONE Fit test should be a good option for you.
We are encouraging our patients to talk to their One Community Health doctor about whether the InSure ONE Fit test is right for them and are pleased to see increasing numbers of patients take advantage of this important screening test.
