June is Men's Health Month
June is national Men’s Health Month, a chance to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys.
Regular checkups mean catching problems early or avoiding them altogether.
It means being able to spend more time doing the things you love with family and friends. Which screenings and exams are right for you depend on things like your age, health, family history, how active you are and if you smoke.
Here are some tests most men should have to stay healthy. Talk with your health care provider about which tests are right for you and how often you should have them.
- Blood pressure test
- Diabetes test
- Cholesterol test
- Colorectal cancer screening
- HIV test
- STD tests
