Starting January 1, 2027:
- Some adults may need to meet work or activity requirements
- Some members will need to renew Medi-Cal every 6 months
- Some eligibility rules are changing

Many Medi-Cal members will continue to qualify and receive the same services.
Some people will not need to take additional steps.
What You Should Do Now
- Make sure your contact information is up to date
- Watch for mail, texts, or emails from your county
- Respond to any notices right away
- Prepare documents if you are asked for information
- Schedule help early—before your deadline
