Executive Team Profile

W. Suzanne Eidson-Ton, MD, MS, FAAFP

W. Suzanne Eidson-Ton, MD, MS, FAAFP is a full-spectrum family physician, practicing primary care from infancy to geriatrics, including prenatal and inpatient pregnancy care.   She received her MS from the School of Public Health at UC Berkeley, graduated from UCSF School of Medicine, and completed a combined Family Medicine/Obstetrics residency program at UC Davis Health.  She has held many leadership positions in healthcare, starting with her nearly 20-year career at UC Davis Health, where she is a clinical professor, and where she previously directed the Family Medicine/Obstetrics residency program, the Rural PRIME program for medical students, and the Network of Family Medicine Residencies throughout Northern California.  In 2019, she began her role at CommuniCare Health Centers, an FQHC in Yolo County, where she served as Chief Medical Officer throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, through a merger with OLE Health, serving Napa and Solano Counties, and oversaw the implementation of a new EHR system (OCHIN/EPIC).  Throughout her career, serving the most vulnerable and historically marginalized individuals and families in our community has been her priority, and she has had an unwavering commitment to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate care to all populations, teaching and supporting future and current healthcare providers in this mission, as well as supporting the inclusion and belonging of all staff in our health centers.  Dr. Eidson-Ton is very excited to join One Community Health as Chief Health Officer, where she will be joining this incredible organization, serving the community in which she resides and one that is near and dear to her heart.  Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children, her various pets—dogs, cats, and chickens, listening to and playing music, gardening, and spending time outdoors in our beautiful state.
